I've been excited all weekend long to share this post with you!
Not only am I sharing an amazing, and cute, and affordable plaid blanket scarf from ILYMIX... I'm sharing how I tie and style mine. I've gotten several questions about this in the past, and seeing as scarf weather is quickly approaching, or already here for many, now would be a good idea for a step by step tutorial.
I hope these photos and instructions are helpful and easy to follow!
Step One: Hold out or lay flat blanket scarf so that it's a big square.
Step Two: Fold in half diagonally so you have a triangle.
Step Three: Fold over the top portion (from the wide end) two to three times.
Step Four: With the fold facing you, crisscross the ends of the scarf behind your neck.
Step Five: Pull the ends in front of you and lay flat or tuck beneath the front portion.
Voila! You're all done!
Even though my fall color palette consists of light neutral colors (did you know pink is a fall color this year?! Sooo excited!) I wanted this olive & orange plaid scarf because I love that it literally screams "Fall!" It also pairs well with a simple long sleeve tee like the white one I'm wearing that is only $19 - and so soft!
It’s hard to believe fall is here, but the favorite things about the dropping temperatures is the necessity for layers. We're showcasing five different ways you can wear your blanket scarf this season. Check it out and learn how to tie a blanket scarf in different ways!
